The changes to the dialup version of the map have made it much more difficult to use. I used to love the ease with which I could type in an address and a city, state and zip. The address field was completely different from the city, state and zip field. Now they are all one just like google, mapquest, liveearth etc… I used to use this site over 500 times a day, now i’ve been forced to use Google Maps for the last few monhts. Please bring back the old version or change the new dialup verison to allow the separate field insert. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhh.. Google sucks but now Yahoo sucks even more!!!

Hello,
A wordpress blog for Yahoo!, Great !
I have just one question. Is there a plan to expand Yahoo local to other countries or regions like Latin America?
Greetings from Mexico !

I just tried to use the “new and improved” yahoo maps and am very frustrated !! I thought it looked great at first, and was impressed by the new feature of having multiple stops in your directions. But when I went to print my directions for use this morning, it only would print the first leg of the journey. If that wasn’t so bad, when I tried to delete the beginning point and just print the last part of my directions - when I hit printable version it came up with the previous map I had already printed, and then crashed/closed my window so I had to start all over again. It did this to me twice before I figured out it wasn’t going to work.
I also really miss the feature you had before with the address line separate from the city/state/zip line. Another feature I really miss is the ability to scale the map larger - it makes it so much easier to read for us older folks with bad eyesight.
Yahoo used to be my favorite map program, but now I’m back to Rand McNally on paper. Why are these improvements making my experience worse? Please bring back the great features you had before that made me happy to use your service.

Yep. More interactive programming would be nice.

I have a slow computer and it takes forever to load. An option for a “lighter” version of the map will be good.

Guys,
You need to expand overseas. Google already does driving directions in Russia and several other pretty remote countries. This service is in high demand there…
